ELT Registration at COSPAS SARSAT

Owners or operators of aircraft registered in Suriname can now register the installed ELT's with the COSPAS SARSAT. For more information click the image.

I.a.w. the requirements of CARS Part 7 article, all turbine-engined aeroplanes with a maximum certificated take-off mass in excess of 5700 Kg or authorized to carry more than nineteen (19) passengers shall be equipped with airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS) equipment which shall operate in accordance with the relevant provisions of Annex 10, Volume IV.
