Wanneer wordt een vliegbrevet geschorst?
  1. In case of doubt concerning the skills of the holder of a licence, the Director may determine that the person involved has to take the complete or partial examination again, while furthermore the validity of one or more licences and/or one or more endorsements may be suspended;
  2. The validity of one or more licences and/or one or more endorsements may also be suspended in the following cases, namely:
    1.pending the investigation of an aeroplane disaster; case of proven misconduct, recklessness or excessive negligence;
    3.if the holder has acted in contradiction to his privileges;
  3. The person involved shall be informed of a suspension by registered letter stating the reasons;
  4. The person involved shall be obligated to hand over to the Director all licences or certificates of validation in his possession on which a suspended licence or endorsement is indicated within eight days after the date of sending the notification intended;
  5. In the cases in which the suspension is limited to one or more endorsements mentioned on the licence or certificate of validation, the Director shall provide the person involved with a new licence or certificate of validation with the mention of all endorsements which are not subject to the suspension;
  6. A suspension may be lifted in the following cases:
    if the examination intended in the first paragraph has been passed successfully;
    if the person involved has the required additional experience;
    by revoking the licence and/or endorsement;
  7. After the lifting of the suspension, other than by revocation, the person involved shall receive a new licence or certificate of validation.
