I.a.w. the requirements of CARS Part 7 article 220.127.116.11,
all turbine-engined aeroplanes with a maximum certificated take-off mass in
excess of 5700 Kg or authorized to carry more than nineteen (19) passengers
shall be equipped with airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS) equipment which
shall operate in accordance with the relevant provisions of Annex 10, Volume IV.
With reference to the above, your attention is drawn to
the current requirements for ACAS equipment as detailed in ICAO Annex 10 Vol.
Compliance with this current requirement can be achieved
through the implementation of Traffic Collision and Avoidance System (TCAS)
version 7.1 as specified in RTCA/DO-185B
With reference to the above this requirement for the
installation and use of TCAS version 7.1
equipment on all applicable Surinamese registered aircraft or those foreign
registered aircraft operated by Surinamese operators becomes effective January 01, 2017.
